Energy Storage Inverters
Inverters are converters that convert DC power into fixed frequency and voltage or frequency and voltage regulated AC power, and are used in both energy storage and power systems. High-power inverters are pursuing high power and small size, while transformers, MOS tubes and other devices will generate a lot of heat when they work, so thermal conductivity and heat dissipation is also an important part of the actual application of the product needs to be taken into account.
Thermally conductive interface materials that can be applied to energy storage inverters:
①Thermally conductive insulating film (BNG600, BNG410) can be used for heat dissipation between inverter MOS tubes and heat sinks, and can be fastened with screws so that the thermally conductive insulating film can fully contact the interface between the heat source and heat dissipation interface to improve the heat dissipation efficiency.
② thermally conductive silicone grease is organic silicone as the main raw material, add thermally conductive filler prepared into a paste material, good fluidity, good surface wettability. Thermally conductive silicone grease (BN-GK1010, BN-GC3096A, BN-GY2060) can be directly coated or screen / stencil printing on the surface of the current sensor, transformer to assist in the dissipation of heat, heat transfer to the radiator. The thinnest compressed thickness of thermally conductive silicone grease can be up to 7μm, with low thermal resistance and excellent thermal conductivity, which is suitable for scenarios with small application gaps.
③ Thermally conductive gel is a composite material composed of silicone and ceramic powder, after pre-curing, it can always maintain the paste state, with very good plasticity, its paste state determines that it has a better gap-filling ability than thermally conductive sheet. The paste is soft, good surface wettability, low compression stress, will not cause damage to the target device, good thermal conduction efficiency, can obtain low thermal resistance. Finished gel cylinder filling can achieve automatic equipment dispensing. Thermally conductive gel (BN-TG350, BN-TG350-4,BN-TG350-60) can be used for current sensors, transformer surface auxiliary cooling.
④Thermally Conductive Potting Adhesive (BN-RT150,BN-RT400-5,BN-RT450) can be used for potting and sealing of electronic components such as inductors, which can improve the integrity and resistance to external impact and vibration. Thermally conductive potting adhesive has low viscosity, good fluidity, can be cured at room temperature or heat, no by-products, and has very small shrinkage.
⑤ Bornsun Industry's heat curing adhesive film (BNTK15) can not only improve the efficiency of heat dissipation, and this product has a self-adhesive property after heating, can be well bonded between the MOS tube and the heat sink, which can eliminate the need for screw assembly process and reduce manufacturing costs.
